What is the Toyota CPO Program?

Toyota offers two levels to its CPO program: Gold Certified and Silver Certified. Vehicles in either category must meet certain criteria to receive certification. They come with benefits to provide peace of mind.

Gold Certification

Toyota vehicles can be gold certified if they are no older than six model years with no more than 85,000 miles on the odometer. These models must pass a Quality Assurance Inspection. In return, you get the following warranty:

• Limited Comprehensive Warranty: 12-month/12,000-mile
• Limited Powertrain Warranty: 7-year/100,000-mile
• 24-Hour Roadside Assistance: 7-year/100,000-mile

Extended warranty coverage is transferable at no extra cost, which adds to the resale value. You also get the same financing rates as with a new vehicle.

Silver Certification

Vehicles may be certified silver if they aren’t any older than 10 model years and have less than 125,000 miles on the odometer. You get a Limited Powertrain Warranty for 12 months or 12,000 miles with 24-hour Roadside Assistance.

Just like with Gold Certification, you can transfer the extended warranty if you sell the vehicle during that time frame. There is no cost to transfer, which can add to the resale value.
